Hi, I’m Fiona, a certified postpartum doula located in Chatham, NJ.
Before becoming a doula, I spent more than a decade working in the corporate world. Like many women, I approached motherhood prepared for pregnancy and birth—but completely unprepared for what came after. When I had my daughters, I was struck by how little support exists for mothers during the postpartum period. You leave the hospital physically recovering, emotionally overwhelmed, sleep deprived, and responsible for a newborn, often with very little guidance or care for the mother herself.
That experience changed me.
What I went through personally made me deeply passionate about postpartum support and the kind of care I believe every family deserves. I truly see postpartum care as preventative care—support that can protect maternal mental health, support physical recovery, reduce overwhelm, and help families feel more grounded during one of life’s biggest transitions.
My approach is calm, practical, and compassionate. I’m here to help families feel less alone in the early weeks of parenthood by offering evidence-based guidance, emotional support, and hands-on help tailored to your needs. Whether that means caring for your baby while you rest, helping you navigate feeding and recovery, preparing a meal, or simply listening without judgment, my goal is to create space for you to heal, adjust, and feel supported.
I know how vulnerable postpartum can feel, and I also know how transformative it can be when mothers are truly cared for during this time. You were never meant to do this alone.
